VIDEO: 'Super Sunday' as Newquay surfers take on notorious Cribbar reef
As winter in Cornwall has welcomed some collosal swells this year, Newquay's notorious surfing reef, the Cribbar, continues to break.
Off-shore winds combined with a huge Atlantic swells saw perfect conditions with waves reaching triple-over-head.
The reef, situated about half a mile off Towan Headlane at the north end of Fistral Beach, only breaks a handful of times a year when swell conditions are perfect.
