As winter in Cornwall has welcomed some collosal swells this year, Newquay's notorious surfing reef, the Cribbar, continues to break.
Off-shore winds combined with a huge Atlantic swells saw perfect conditions with waves reaching triple-over-head.

'Super Sunday' as Newquay surfers take on notorious Cribbar reef
The reef, situated about half a mile off Towan Headlane at the north end of Fistral Beach, only breaks a handful of times a year when swell conditions are perfect.
