The purpose of the light-hearted stunt was to raise money for Joshua Wilson, 12, from Lancashire, who has been left with complex physical needs following surgery on a brain tumour.
The video was released on YouTube on January 7 and quickly went viral. It has since been viewed more than 190,000 times and raised more than £11,000 for Joshua. The money will go towards making vital adaptations to Joshua's home to meet his needs.
