VOTE: For Fifteen Cornwall's Wild Cornwall photography competition
The six finalists of Fifteen Cornwall’s Wild Cornwall photography competition have been selected. With such a fantastic response, short-listing has been a tough call for professional photographers Simon Burt and David Griffen.
The winner photographer will be treated to dinner for two at Fifteen Cornwall and their photo will be displayed in the restaurant. Responsibility for judging the winning image now falls to the readers of www.thisiscornwall.co.uk who can vote (below) for their favourite shot from 14th – 28th February.
“The standard of entries has been impressive. There are some great amateur photographers in the county. We were really looking for imagery that summed up the feel of Cornwall be it the dramatic coastline, striking landscapes or wildlife,” comments Simon Burt. “The six finalists were chosen on the merit of their representation of Wild Cornwall. We were also looking for photos that displayed technical ability such as a good grasp of composition or exposure,” adds David Griffen.
The six finalists are:
Louise Snelson – Black headed gulls
Francie Pack – A stormy afternoon in Porthleven
Peter Morgan – Frosty Tree at Galowras
Bob Burnett – Goose Rock at Crantock
Judy Addison – Take off near Loe
Tina Holland – Thrift by the sea
The winner will be announced on Monday 28th February and their photograph will be on display in the restaurant from 7th March

“The gull pic is the most evocative of Wild Cornwall in my view.
It`s a shame that comps like this are resolved by how many people are on your network/forum or who know how to use google chrome incognito login.
Roll on e voting for parliament!”

“You can see this photo - Goose Rock at Crantock - in all its full glory on the Fifteen Cornwall Facebook page.

Unfortunately, the above image has been slightly cropped, so the reflection of the rock in the wet sand of Crantock beach is missing!
It's a shame that the "This is Cornwall" website can not display the whole photo in its completeness?”
