Pictures of the decorations on Porthleven harbour are expected to be taken once the wind drops later today.
One granny said members of the group had crept into the seaside village in the early hours of this morning to put up the display, which had taken months to create, under the cover of darkness.
She said: "Somebody will have a thought for a couple of months ahead for what's coming up."
She said the nine members would then work on the individual aspects of the design, each adding her own individual flair, before they met to put the whole thing together.
She added: "For us the enjoyment is other people enjoying it and other people looking at it.
"No one knows what we look like in fact people ask me if I who they are and I say I have not got a clue."
The Graffiti Grannys are a group of women, who get together in their own time and at their own expense, to knit pieces which they then put around the community when no one is around to surprise and delight the public.
Last year on Valentine's Day they decorated the bandstand at Morrab Gardens, Penzance and the years before it was St Ives that got bombed.
