Visockis roars to singles title against partner
THIS year's West Cornwall Table Tennis League premier division singles champion is Rytis Visockis, who beat his doubles partner, Jeremy Williams, 3-1, following a scintillating final, on Sunday night at Tregorrick Park Table Tennis Centre.
The two players, who with Adrian Noott play for the formidable Falmouth Docks team, excited the crowd with a display of awesome power.

Williams took the first game 11-9, but then Visockis went up a gear and played the best attacking table tennis that he has played this season, winning the next three games, 11-9, 11-2, 12-10, in a final that did West Cornwall proud.
In the semi-finals Visockis overpowered his opponent, 13-year-old rising Cornish star Carl Baldry from Bodmin 3-0, while Williams also won 3-0, beating Redruth's Austin Chapman.

These two team-mates then paired up to also take the premier division doubles title.
The Handicap event saw a massive entry of 57 players which was won by Falmouth Docks' Freya Tuffery when she beat Sam Skinner who plays for Peoples Palace in Truro, 11-6 in the play-off game.
These divisional championships, sponsored by chartered accountants Kelsall Steele, attracted an entry of 70 players, which saw people travel from all over the region to St Austell.
During these finals the Ignition Credit Player of the Month trophy was presented to Nick Peters by Nick Hunt.
