Wadebridge Primestock Show entries still open
A packed programme of livestock and produce judging is planned for the Wadebridge Primestock Show, which will be held at the Royal Cornwall Showground on November 26.
The show, where judging begins at 10am, is housed in the Exhibition Hall on the showground, and will include trade and craft exhibits.
The wide range of classes cover not only cattle and sheep, lamb and pork carcasses, but also fruit and vegetables, dairy produce, cookery, handicraft, homemade wines, liqueurs and honey and special classes for children. A large section of the show consists of classes for YFC members, while the WI class theme this year is the Cornish Gorsedd.
This year's show president is Gerald Haines, former county organiser of the Cornwall Federation of YFCs, who farms at Summercourt and is a keen exhibitor of British Blondes.
