Chamber of Commerce chair, Adrian Jones said: “Wadebridge was buzzing last night.
“There were so many people having a good time.
“The fireworks were even better than last year.”
The community choir Voiceworks, the ladies barbershop group- Moor Harmony and the Wadebridge Male Voice Choir gave two performances each.
Time To Shine, a choir of four to eight-year-olds sang festive songs from the 70’s onwards.
There was a Santa’s grotto, tea-cup and saucer rides and a bungee run.
Alongside the extended shopping hours in local shops, there was a market in the town hall, which is open throughout the two-day event.
The event continues this evening with a Strictly Come Wadebridge dance performance from 4pm in Molesworth Street.
Local young person’s dance troupe, Brilliant Dance, is gearing up to bring flash-mob dancing to the Wadebridge pavements.
