Walks set season off to good start
SLOTS for some of the most popular walks in Walk Scilly are filling up fast.
All five inhabited islands are on the week-long itinerary from Saturday, March 23, running into the following week to coincide with the islands' Folk Festival.
Amanda Pender, of the Tourism Partnership, said: "This year is packed with old favourites and new walks – 24 in all with 17 expert guides, 14 of whom come from across the islands, giving the festival a real local air."
An opportunity to try snorkelling around the Eastern Islands in search of seals is an added attraction.
