Wall reconstruction to affect traffic in Launceston
Works to strengthen a long retaining wall in Launceston, North Cornwall, will begin on January 2. The 70-metre long Hadley retaining wall, on Royden Road, is in need of substantial reconstruction and maintenance work. The works will involve the construction of a mass concrete masonry-faced wall which will support a new parapet system. Three-way traffic lights will be in operation during the project, which is being carried out by CORMAC Solutions Ltd, which is expected to be completed by the end of March.
