Wedding open day
LOVE – or at least marriage – is in the air now the festive season is over.
The St Ives Harbour Hotel and Spa, which was voted Cornish Brides Best Wedding Venue 2012, is holding a wedding open day this Sunday.
The hotel will be inviting prospective brides and grooms to meet suppliers and view their facilities between 11am and 4pm. They will also be shown round the function rooms.
On March 2 there will also be a wedding fair at the Parish Church in St Ives.

“Sadly the St Ives Harbour Hotel and Spa has gone down hill recently. What used to be a luxurious Hotel is, like many, suffering from cost-cutting and doing things on the cheap; lack of cleaners give a dirty feel, lower paid staff equals lack of caring, smaller meals feel cheap…it all takes away from that special feeling that one used to get from here. If I pay for luxury, I want luxury, not second best.”
