Rennie rescues point
Torpoint Athletic 1, Saltash United 1
SALTASH were delighted to take an away point from their Tamarside rivals with Scott Rennie scoring a deserved last minute equaliser to round off a sustained period of pressure.
Torpoint had no complaints at the result, although they will have been disappointed not to take advantage of their own spell of domination after Dave Lorrimer had given them the lead towards the end of the first half.
The home side were well on top at that stage and might well have added to their lead but for some sound work at the back by Saltash with Jason Beynon on top form at the heart of defence.

Man of the Match: Jason Beynon (Saltash United).
Wadebridge Town 2, Elburton Villa 4
WADEBRIDGE were again left reflecting on a series of missed opportunities after suffering their fifth successive league defeat.
They will take some heart, however, from the promising performances of two new signings, Kane Watson from Newquay and Connor Mewton from Sticker.
But it was Elburton's debutant, Paul Simpson from Bere Alston, who opened the scoring for the visitors.
Jason Aimes replied for Wadebridge, who could well have taken the lead during a period of domination before the interval.
Simpson scored again before the break with Elburton adding second half goals through Chris Carter and Dan Aherne while Aimes had a second for Wadebridge.

Two other premier division matches – Bere Alston v Probus and Tavistock v Bude – were postponed because of waterlogged pitches.
