West Bank to South West
MOUNT Charles Methodist Church, Victoria Road, St Austell plays host to Still Life: Tales from the West Bank on Tuesday.
It was a surprise hit at the Edinburgh Fringe last year and is currently touring the UK. This performance in St Austell is the only one taking place in the whole of the South West. If you miss it you will have to travel to Southampton or Bath.
For just over an hour two talented actress/ singers will transport you to rural Palestine and give you a flavour of what life is really like for people living under occupation. There will be a chance to talk to the performers over tea and coffee afterwards and to purchase some Palestinian and other fairly traded goods. Admission is free although donations will be welcome. The performance will begin at 7.30pm.
