IT'S A family affair in Tregony this week as the village's Clockhouse Players take to the stage with their version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Dubbed "the ultimate family show", there are up to three generations of several families taking part.

Newcomer Barbara Saunders is playing this year's dame, her daughter Gaynor is the production's musical director and grand-daughter Yana is leading the cast as heroine Snow White.

Longstanding players' member Brenda Cawrse is co-directing the show and daughter-in-law Sarah and grandchildren Jack and Haydn are members of the adult and junior choruses.

The show is a mix of traditional pantomime comedy with references to modern popular culture.

Audiences can even expect to see Strictly Come Dancing given a fairytale twist.

Performances take place at Tregony Village Hall at 7.30pm every evening until Saturday, with a matinee performance at 2.30pm on Saturday.

Tickets are £5.50 for adults and £4.50 for concessions. All tickets on the Saturday are £5.50.

They are available on the door or from the Londis shop in Tregony, telephone 01872 530633.
