Wife of Cornish 9/11 hero to visit Hayle school
The widow of a Hayle hero who was killed in the September 11 terrorist attacks in America will be visiting the town this week.
Susan Rescorla will visit Penpol School on Friday where her husband Rick was once a pupil.

The 62-year-old US Vietnam War veteran who was born and raised in Hayle, helped save the lives of 2,700 people by ensuring they evacuated the World Trade Center south tower before it collapsed after being hit by one of two hijacked airliners.
Headteacher at Penpol School, Paul Hodson, said: "We only get to see Susan about once a year so we are planning a little assembly for her."

Mrs Rescorla visited Launceston College in North Cornwall today where one of four new houses introduced at the school in September is named after him, as an important person in Cornish history.
Rescorla House stands alongside Trevithick, Hepworth and Causley.
