Police have narrowed their search for a lorry involved in a hit-and-run on the A30 in Cornwall. Two mirrors recovered by officers from the scene, near Temple, on Bodmin Moor, show the heavy goods vehicle involved was either a Volvo or Renault. A 42-year-old man suffered serious head and leg injuries after being hit from behind as he walked from Bodmin towards Launceston. The incident happened just before 8pm on Tuesday. The man remains in a serious condition in hospital.
