Woman, 47, assaulted by side of road

Detectives are appealing for information after a 47-year-old woman was attacked by the side of a road in Cornwall. The assault is said to have taken place between 11am and 1pm on Tuesday, January 8, on the A3083 between Ruan Minor and the Lizard. Officers said the woman reported she had been assaulted at the side of the road by a man. Police investigating the case said they were keen to speak to anyone who may have seen a red Honda saloon car at the side of the road at the relevant time or may have spoken to the driver.
