Woman assaulted at city's quayside
Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault on a woman in Exeter. The victim, aged in her 30s, was running along by the quay in the city, between the Port Royal pub and Trews Weir, when she was approached by a man from behind and pushed against a wall. She screamed and the man ran off. The suspect is described as Indian or Asian, aged 28 to 30 and of a slight build. He had thick wavy dark hair and distinctly bushy eyebrows. Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting reference DE/12/12155.
