Woman fined
A NEWQUAY woman has been ordered to pay a total of £275 in fines, costs and surcharge by a court after admitting offences committed in breach of a conditional discharge.
When she appeared before Bodmin magistrates on November 7, Victoria Leonard, 33, of Edgcumbe Avenue, pleaded guilty to stealing food valued at £4.08 from Asda in the town on October 3, a public order offence on the same date and failing to turn up for court on November 6.
The court was told that at the time she had been subject to a two-year discharge for possession of cannabis and she was resentenced for that offence.
