Woman pedestrian in critical condition after a crash outside Camborne council offices
A WOMAN pedestrian was rushed to hospital in critical condition yesterday afternoon following a crash outside Cornwall Council offices in Camborne.
At around 4.50pm a female in her sixties became trapped under a red Vauxhall Astra shortly after it was leaving the council car park at Dolcoath Avenue.
One fire crew from Camborne fire station was called to the scene to release the casualty who was trapped under the front wheels of the car.
The woman, thought to be from the local area, was taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske in Truro where she remains in a critical condition with multiple injuries.

The road was closed for around six hours and police have begun an investigation in the circumstances of this collision and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it to contact them on 101 and quote log reference 497 of 20 December 2012.
