Words of water lap and leap liquidly
POET and wordsmith Sally Crabtree didn't have to travel far to spread the word about National Poetry Week.
The Mousehole resident went to the village school where she spent the day inspiring the pupils to write poetry on the subject of water.
"We had a brilliant day, doing all sorts of things," she said.
"We created a poem which we put in a bottle to be taken out to sea by a fisherman to perhaps be read by someone in China one day. I took along my guitar and we wrote songs about the sea; we made a huge song trail book and a book in the shape of a fish which included a daft song."

Ms Crabtree added that it was fantastic visiting her local village school.
"There's such a great vibe there – the boys and girls were a delight and came up with some amazing stuff.
"I just hope I was able to inspire them a little bit and that I gave them a bit of confidence."
