Their debut headline tour follows the triumphant No.1 single ‘Wings’, which entered the top of the charts on Sunday, and their debut album, due for release in November.

Little Mix originally auditioned for the X Factor as solo performers; under the tutelage of judge and mentor Tulisa Contostavlos they joined forces to become Little Mix, X Factor’s first ever victorious group.

Having captured the hearts and minds of the nation with their winning chemistry, musical sensibility and breath-taking vocal prowess, the girls shot straight to No.1 with their debut single ‘Cannonball’.

They returned last week with the acclaimed single ‘Wings’, released through Syco/Sony Music which soared to No1 into the charts.

Built on a strident soul and r’n’b-flavoured rhythm and featuring an astonishing vocal turn from each member, ‘Wings’ marks Little Mix out as a truly captivating new act.

The four girls - Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall – have taken their time working on music for their debut album and the first offering from it is a distinctive, attention-grabbing pop smash.

With the UK’s music scene in need of a fresh-faced, exciting girl band, Little Mix are blessed with the tunes and the personalities to stake their claim as the most thrilling prospect in chart music today. Don’t miss seeing Little Mix live next year.

“"Hottest" eh? Just another off-the-shelf created product, to make money for its manufacturers. It's one thing for gullible teenage girls to be taken in by this flim-flam, but please not you Newspaper.”

“The sad thing is that this charade will sell out.
Then stand by for Saint Simon to drop them as soon as they stop him raking it in.
X factor is TV for the hard of thinking that excels at separating the gullible from their cash.”

“As much as I dislike these sort talentless "celebrities" .. I unfortunately have to disagree with the below posters. These girls will make more money next year then most of us in a lifetime, travel the world and live the high-life. I feel "almost" sorry for the misguided generation of young teenage girls and "Hello/OK" readers who are paying for this.”

“Before I read the headline, I thought to myself 'Why is there a picture of some BRATZ dolls on the herald site?'. It was a shock when I realised that they were actually real people.

I feel sorry for these girls. They won't make a penny out of their work, and they will be discarded without a second glance once the record company have finished using them.”
