Young Westcountry farmers to feature in TV show
Young Westcountry farmers are set to star in a new television series about the agricultural world.
First Time Farmers is a five-part documentary series looking at all aspects of farming life through the eyes of the younger generation.

Flossy Biss, 17, runs her family farm while keeping up with her studies at school
The second episode will show young farmer Flossy Biss from Somerset, who runs her family farm even though she has not yet left school.
The 17-year-old has full responsibility for going to market to buy cattle, medicating the animals and even rearing the sheep, so she has to manage her time to juggle farm management with school work.

As the youngest of four children, she stepped up to the responsibility of running the farm after their father left.
Now the farm's "holding number" is under her name.
The teenager's studies for GCSEs coincided with the busy lambing season, which meant Flossy had long days and early starts to fit in on top of taking her exams.
The reality TV series was filmed over a six-month period. Each episode meets three new young farmers aged 16-25, including apprentices, shepherds and slaughter men. A Channel 4 spokesman said the series would "lift the lid on the dilemmas, pressures and daily grind of young farmers".
First Time Farmers starts tomorrow at 8pm on Channel 4. The episode featuring Flossy Biss airs on January 18. She said: "Being filmed was exciting but stressful. Sometimes I found myself getting upset and angry on camera. During filming of the lambing season the sheep refused to move because of the cameras, and it was hard when they turned up to film at 6:30am on the day of my GCSE Biology exam." But she added: "I'm really glad I took part – it was a fantastic experience."
