Rowan, of Tresillian, is following in Mr Thomas' own footsteps after landing a place at his alma mater, the London Studio Centre, on a dance BA (hons) programme. The college has helped launch the careers of actress Tamzin Outhwaite and model and actress Elizabeth Hurley.
And Alex, from St Austell, has been offered spots at the Tring Arts Educational in Hertfordshire and The Hammond School, Chester – but has not yet decided which to take up.
Mr Thomas said: "These two students have worked so hard in dance classes. They really deserve the places.
"They have excelled at ballet, which is the first dance class the students will perform in any audition for vocational dance school or college."
The pair are also members of the Jason Thomas Dance Company, formed to give students a more 'intense' education.
West Briton leisure editor Lee Trewhela commented: "Having watched several shows by the Jason Thomas Dance School, Rowan has always shone and my budding five-year-old ballerina Amelie looks up to her as a shining example of what she hopes to be one day."
