YOUNG STARS: Children from Fowey Primary School will get the chance to show off the willow lanterns they've been working on during tonight's festive procession through the town. The Year 5 and 6 pupils have been hard at work during the workshop with Sian Hill from Ways With Willow, a social enterprise that was offering children free sessions in school, to create their own personalised lanterns. The lantern parade will begin at Fowey Parish Church at 6pm. The children will head to Berrils Yard and will be joined by Father Christmas at 6.30pm. The procession will go through the town to finish back at the church with mayor, John Berryman, switching on the Christmas lights at 7pm. Pupils will get to take their lanterns home.
