Police are appealing for information after an incident at Penryn station
Investigating officer, PC Wayne Frost, said: "The member of staff had simply asked the group, who are believed to have been in drink, to show their tickets when they became abusive and swore at him.
"Clearly, behaviour such as this towards rail staff is unacceptable and won't be tolerated and enquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible."

“This unfortunately is a sign of the times. There was a time when, if you told off a youngster for using foul language he would apologise or at least stop it. Now if you try it you get a mouthful of abuse and even risk being assaulted. It's about time parents tried drilling manners and courtesy into their young from an early age. That's if they care of course.”
