Well-beaten Truro City have no answer to talented Dover outfit
Truro City were well beaten in their re-arranged Blue Square Bet South home game against Dover Athletic at Treyew Road last night.
The Kent side earned a 3-0 win in chilly Cornwall. Ex-Millwall striker Ben May beat Truro's former Plymouth Argyle goalkeeper Luke McCormick to put them in front in the 38th minute, and the visitors added two more goals in the second half.

Billy Brickell's 76th-minute strike plus a late effort from former Fulham striker Calum Willock two minutes before full time took Dover to within two points of league leaders Salisbury City.
Truro, whose influential skipper Jake Ash was not fit enough to start in central defence last night, remain eight points adrift at the foot of the Blue Square Bet South table.

Torquay United will face Newton Abbot side Buckland Athletic, the team who knocked them out in the last two seasons, in the quarter-finals of the Devon St Luke's Challenge Cup, but only after their reserves survived an almighty scare against Liverton United last night.
It needed penalties, after a 2-2 draw at Devon FA headquarters at Coach Road, before United went through.
United won the shoot-out 3-0, care of Saul Halpin, Niall Thompson and Karl Baker, with Liverton failing to convert any of their first three spot-kicks.
Oliver Booth went close for Liverton in the second minute, but it looked like a straightforward evening for the Gulls when they took the lead after seven minutes. Ashley Yeoman crossed from the left, and Halpin had time to pick his spot with a firm header.
But, if Torquay thought they were going on to gain an easy victory, they were mistaken. Four minutes after Halpin's goal, goalkeeper Martin Rice brought down Jordan Lamm and Nathan Rudge tucked away the spot-kick.
Liverton went ahead when Jamie Chamberlain's determination saw him follow up his first shot, saved by Rice, to make it 2-1. Torquay left-back Tom Cruise levelled the tie with a left-foot shot from 15 yards in the 75th minute.
