Dana arranged for her team to shadow the original team of carers to learn the unusual things about caring for someone with HD and within a few days my wife felt entirely comfortable and relaxed with the new team. We both now look forward to a cheerful and caring visit morning and evening and we get more laughter than worry nowadays. I would recommend Penwith Care to anybody without any reservations. nice to feel secure
“I am very fortunate that at a hour of great stress,owing to my previous carers who left suddenly without any warning I went into hands of Penwith Care. Stress was at once at an end. I had no more worries about who was coming,when they were coming or if they coming at all. It has been very nice to feel secure, added to that Dana Ambra and her team always take trouble to do more than necessary and make sure I am absolutely comfortable. They are very nice people and it is a pleasure to see they arrive. Highly recommended.

excellent care
“Penwith care provide excellent personal care. The communication and consistency of care has made all the difference to my 89 year old mother who was diagnosed with dementia almost a year ago. Before finding Penwith Care the services we could find were patchy and inadequate. Far from deteriorating over the year her mental and physical state has actually improved as she feels secure and cared for and is now able to make regular use of the excellent local Day Centre. This is how care for the elderly should be. Highly recommended. Ask Dana for my contact details and I will be pleased to confirm in person.

They really DO know the meaning of 'Care'
“Dana Ambra and her team at Penwith Care have been providing twice-daily personal care for my 67-year- old husband John since being diagnosed with brain tumours in June of this year. We have found them all to be not only highly professional and reliable but also personally very kind and considerate. They have helped John enormously not only with his personal care, but also with certain aspects of physical rehabilitation, ie, helping him to walk and encouraging him to do some of the more simple things for himself. Without doubt, their encouragement is helping him progress towards being more independent, and due to the respect and consideration they have shown he has suffered no loss of dignity in their care. Another very positive aspect for us has been the continuity of having familiar faces coming daily enabling us to build up not only trust, but also a friendly working relationship, which is so very important in our situation. I cannot recommended Penwith Care highly enough, in fact I have already done so to others needing care.
