Two men have been charged with having custody or control of £940 worth of counterfeit money in Exeter. Alfonse Tourino, 18, and 25-year-old Faried Irani, both from Portsmouth, were charged with offences under the Forgery and Counterfeiting Act following a check by police in Exeter on Monday. Both men were arrested following the spot check at around 9am in South Street in the city before being interviewed and charged at Heavitree Road Police Station.
