Charities get cash from bingo sessions

A CHEQUE for £2,546 was handed to St John Ambulance and £800 to the Cornwall Air Ambulance, after a Christmas bingo session on December 19.

Roy and Joan Starling organise weekly charity bingo sessions at the St John Ambulance Hall, Camelford, throughout the year.

Joan was presented with a bouquet of flowers and Roy also received a gift in recognition of their fund-raising efforts.
