Cut price hair styles

HAIRDRESSING students in Saltash are hoping to make Christmas a bit brighter for people by offering hair-dos at discounted prices.

The Hair Design Centre at the Cornwall College Saltash is offering a style for £4, a cut and blow-dry with a level two student for £6.50, and colours from £16.50.

Chris Munt, celebrity stylist and hairdressing lecturer at the college, said: "We aim to give our students the best experience possible by inviting members of the public into the college's salon. We have state-of-the-art facilities which could rival top salons yet we're able to offer major discounts to our clients. We're more than happy to speak to clients on the phone to talk through the type of style they would like."

The salon is open to the public weekdays between 9am and 3pm, and until 8pm on Tuesdays.
