Dentists in move to new building

THE Green Room is the brainchild of Richard and Sally Hudson, a husband and wife team who met while studying dentistry at the University of Bristol, writes Suzy Woodward.

Their love of surfing lured them to Newquay and the resultant Green Room practice in the town attracted many people.

Nine years later they have just moved to new premises, enlisting the services of Royal Institute of British Architect award winning designer Richard Mitzman, himself originally a practising dentist to create a purpose-built surgery more akin to a boutique hotel or spa. Set within tranquil gardens overlooking the Trenance Boating Lake, the exterior of The Green Room practice is as stunning as the interior and access is easy with ample parking for 30 cars.

With a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, and an expertise in implants, Richard is the selected representative of the Association of Dental Implantology UK in the South West.

Sally is dedicated to general dentistry and is gifted with nervous patients, children and those with special needs. With a range of specially-honed techniques, this husband and wife team aim to provide virtually pain-free dental treatment. To relax clients further, the new integral sound system means that patients can even select their own choice of music during their treatments.

The Green Room is also one of the very few UK practices to have a resident technician, Stephen Lusty, in his in-house laboratory. Stephen comes from a leading London surgery where he has crafted the smiles of many of celebrities. Stephen's on-site presence ensures that perfect colour matches are made for each patient's teeth.

The upstairs area of the practice houses two beauty treatment rooms offering a full range of facials, massages, manicures, and pedicures.

An osteopath/acupuncturist will also be joining the practice very soon.
