Wiltshire car crash claims life of Newquay woman

The 51-year-old, a female passenger in a Nissan car, died in hospital from her injuries on Tuesday afternoon.
The accident happened at Charnage Down at around 12.30pm when a white Citroen Bellingo van, travelling eastbound and a blue Nissan Qashqai travelling westbound towards Mere collided.
The Newquay woman was airlifted to Salisbury District Hospital but later died of her injuries.
The drivers of both vehicles were also taken to Salisbury District Hospital and kept in for observation, but are not thought to have life-threatening injuries.
The stretch of road between Charnage Down and Mere was closed for six hours and finally reopened just after 7.30pm
