CRUELLA De Vil was a surprise visitor to a family fun dog show at Blackcross, near Indian Queens on Sunday.

Complete with a dalmatian at her side, Cruella wowed judges with her authentic fancy dress at the dog show, organised by the Indian Queens Cancer Research UK committee.

In total, 68 dogs entered the competition, held at the home of Cyril Landry.

Entrants competed against each other in 26 different classes, including: Waggiest tail, fancy dress, happiest face and best trick.

Shirley Rickard, who helped organise the show, said she was very pleased with the result.

"I think everyone really enjoyed it; it went very well.

"This is the first time the committee has done anything like this before and we are all delighted with how it went."

In total, the event saw £609 raised for Cancer Research UK.

The committee is also nearing its 40th anniversary and is now closing on its £200,000 target.
