Businesses urged to support Joe Way charity buy buying books

Monday, October 13, 2008, 12:18

A NURSERY school is urging businesses to buy books in memory of an "inspirational" Newquay boy and a Cornish charity.

Nurture Day Care Nursery, based on Edgcumbe Gardens, is encouraging companies to come forward and buy a book in memory of Joe Way and Children's Hospice South West's Precious Lives Appeal.

Nurture is aiming to collect £1,000 in donations for the books – and Usborne – a children's books publishers – will then provide an additional £600 worth of free books on top.

All businesses who come forward will receive acknowledgement in a book of their choice by inserting a business logo by the means of a sticker or company business card, along with Joe Way charity sticker.
