No costumes needed for latest project
A GROUP of amateur actresses are hoping their next starring role will feature them on the walls of homes across Padstow after becoming Calendar Girls.
The ladies from Kernow Players disrobed for charity with each calendar girl taking a different West End musical as a theme.

Eighteen ladies took part after it was jokingly suggested that they should create their own naked calendar and before Angela Reskelly and Janice Hawkey could say, "we need bigger buns", they had more than enough volunteers.
Using only props to cover the "essential bits", and after a few glasses of bubbly, lots of laughter and words of encouragement the ladies were shedding their clothes before anyone could have second thoughts and with Gill Malkinson behind the camera the deed was done.

The ladies decided to donate all profits to Breast Cancer Care and Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust as most of them had been touched in some way by family and friends having to cope with these two terrible diseases at some stage of their lives.
Sue "Miss August" Norfolk, chairman of The Kernow Players, said: "I am extremely proud of all the ladies that took part in this fundraising idea, although we know each other very well and have been friends for years it takes a great deal of nerve to shed your clothes.
"The two causes we decided on were something that we all felt strongly about and there wasn't anyone who had not had some dealings with these diseases either through family or friends and felt they were doing something positive and worthwhile and also having fun."
To raise extra funds Janice Hawkey and Angela Reskelly also organised a summer ball and barbecue at The Old House, Chapel Amble.
As a result of this evening and people's generosity £1,600 was raised to go with the calendar.
