Becoming a councillor
EVENTS are being held for people considering standing for council seats at the elections on May 2.
Redruth Town Council's open day today in the council chambers is from 4pm to 8pm.
Illogan Parish Council is holding events tomorrow and Saturday in the parish office at Unit 2, Wheal Agar, Tolvaddon Energy Park, between 10am and 2pm.
There will be an opportunity to speak to current parish councillors and to find out what the role involves. Anyone unable to attend can ring the clerk on 01209 711433 for details.
