Fire crew called to Redruth industrial blaze
Fire crews were called to a building at the Cardrew Industrial Estate in Redruth in the early hours of this morning after the electricity went off and there were reports of smoke.
A total of eleven crew from Redruth and Camborne were mobilised to the scene just before 4.30am and discovered a fire in a compressor room at the rear of the 100m x 30m building.
Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service said the blaze had been extinguished by 5.30am and they established that the cause was accidental.
