So, according to the BBC, we've only been farming down here since shortly after the Normans whooped the Saxons at Hastings. Clearly, before then we must have been simple hunter gatherers, of no fixed abode, just following the herds of game from season to season.

Do you think that it was the Normans that came here to civilise we heathen Cornish with these modern food production methods, or was it a small band of fleeing Saxons, that brought their far superior technology with them, and set up a settlement here?

Or, could it just possibly be that the BBC have decided to ignore thousands of years of Cornish history.......................................? and if so, why?

It can't be the case that the BBC employ reporters that are either too lazy to actually do a little research, or have an agenda, personal or corporate, that they are incapable of diverting from.
