“Yes. peace. I think back 100 years to 1913 to when the world lay on the brink of a needless war, 'flu epidemic which took even more millions, economic upheaval and then a second war. Fortunately, the British Empire is gone and also Britain's ability to fight wars and the needless disaster that has been Afghanistan is slowly coming to an end.

None of us knows what lays ahead but peace is probably the best thing we can all hope for.
