“HAVEN HOUSE COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTRE TO HOLD OPEN DAY
Haven House Community Learning Centre will welcome all to an Open Day on Monday 27th February (10am – 3pm) to showcase the many courses that are available in the heart of Truro. The open day is being organised and hosted by unemployed people on a funded Event Management course.
Whether interested in learning new skills to boost career prospects, keen to find the confidence to re-enter the workplace, or just wanting to gain some basic computer skills Haven House can provide the tools and course to help.
Throughout the Open Day staff will be on hand to answer any questions about the many courses that are available and everyone is welcome to drop in and enjoy a friendly and informal chat over a free cup of tea or coffee.
The day will be a fantastic opportunity to find out about the range of courses on offer including Adult Literacy and Numeracy, Text and Word Processing, ECDL, Employability Skills, Skills for life, Vocational Training and much more.
In many cases, with funding subject to eligibility, courses may be completely free and staff will be on hand all day to discuss the funding opportunities available.
