Following on from my deleted posting concerning a near neighbour reporting that the Territorial Army is in a poor state of affairs with poor parade attendances, defective equipment and low morale and with the British Army reducing to 82,000 making it one of the smaller armies in Europe, the media have picked up the story and senior military officials have confirmed that the 'Terriers' are unfit for purpose.

Reports in the press today also outline a massive drug problem in the Royal Navy due in part to lack of morale and massive cutbacks.

Yet figures show that the UK's defence budget is fifth highest in the world.
