“It's always a pleasure to see the auld enemy beaten. If Cornwall were allowed to have its own National side, that would be quite something. We were talking about this watching the match the other day.So many Cornish people feel that way. It is a real shame that the Cornish are forced to play for the Country next door. It was also good to hear that several Cornish players refer to themselves as Cornish only and some have even refused to play for the auld enemy.
One day. Keep your eyes on that ball, my boys.”

“PS. CallingtonFox - 'fellow Britains' is an impossible concept as 'Britain' refers to the island we live on. It should be 'fellow Britons'. Hence our local rag is called the 'West Briton' for example, which is what we are. (not English)
I would have thought one as learned as you and with so many qualifications would have realised this. Ah, that reminds me, your qualifications.........”

“Yes indeed, Cornish not English. Cornwall is administered as a County of England. So were many places once. But its administrative arrangements do not make it a County.
Cornwall next to England just like Wales. All of course on the island of Britain, just off the shore of Europe.”
“Wales 30 - England 3
Delicious!”
