“May I suggest that anyone who has problems with Cornwall's Celticity refrain from reading the article. Even an ordained Minister of the Anglican Church refers to the Celtic nature of Cornwall. (it may be an idea to add her to your reading list along with the academics I have mentioned elsewhere. What academic qualifications and books or even research papers do any of the deniers have who infect this forum have to their names I wonder? At a guess.....none!)”

“If you want to carry on thinking I, for one, have not been researching using as many sources as I can, including ones that you support, then you are greatly mistaken. But then, it is clear you do not want to believe that anyone can have an opposing view to you which has been and continues to be, brought about by questioning, the already mentioned researching and having an open mind.
One thing you just can not bear and are in total denial of, is the questioning and reappraisal by historians and other academics of the whole subject of the 'Celts'.
I used to be like you, in that I totally believed in their existence, until I started to ask questions and can now see how wrong I was.”

“Callingtonfox, you are so pathetic, hung up on the word Celt. The word Celt does not define race.It is simply a hook on which to hang a particular culture and language...Do we not define the English as anglo saxon? I could argue that the English are no more anglo saxon than the Cornish are Celtic. You are just nit picking, wanting to keep us Cornish in an English/British conformity that fits your subjective views on world order...We Cornish are the remnants of a people that predate the arrival of the English, what is your problem with that?..We choose to be Cornish, and not English...It is not some long lost gene that defines us Cornish,it is the desire to be Cornish that drives us.”

“The irony of what you posted everywhere! Priceless!
And another thing, we 'English' are the result of a mix of people from the same ancestors as you 'Cornish'. Open your eyes and mind and start questioning what you think you know.”

“So Callington fox ...All you are doing is to try and deny me my right to be Cornish...A very English trait indeed!!...And the English have had their ass kicked time and time again for trying to deny other nations their rights...Well,empire is dead pal,and we Cornish will demand our rights also!”

“I do not care about the empire, it has gone, and I am glad. If you want to be Cornish then good for you, but tell me how I am denying you your right to be so?
If you seriously think I am denying you your rights then report me to the relevant authorities, I have done nothing wrong.
Also, your grasp of history is limited, that is obvious.”
