“Look them up; they helped form the thinking behind the Third Reich; in other words, Nazi Germany. They used their supposed 'learning's to preach racial superiority and make a case for 'nationhood'. People relied on their teachings to help create one of the most evil regimes the world has ever seen.

Their 'knowledge' went unchallenged, why? What lessons should we learn from this?”

“Thoughts and ideas are just that, it is how men use them that can be dangerous.

Look at the writings in the various Religious books out there, and all the hate, destruction, suffering and death that mans interpretations of them have caused. Religion, far more dangerous than the most extreme nationalist.

Once again, you misdirect your fear, and contribute to fear in others by the connections you make.”

“I agree with you about 'religious books,' Paddy, I would put them on a par with extreme nationalist ideals.

As for your last remark, you have got me wrong.”

“Yes and several politicians have noted how dangerous English Nationalists can be. Hague and Straw describe them as the worse of the lot and even in this country, we can see examples of them on this very forum. The EDL, BNP and UKIP flourish up in England but thankfully have made no impact in this Country.”

“Yes, English Nationalists can be bloody dangerous; just as Cornish Nationalists can be.

Can you not see how divisive nationalism actually is?

Can you not see that the more we separate from each other the more chance of conflict there can be, right-up to physical conflict?

Do you think that one report will satisfy anyone's cause?

Do you not accept that attempting to define a separate nation, especially when going against historical facts, acquiescence, integration and legalities, is not only impossible it is dangerous to society?

Do you think that every nationalist will be pulling in the same direction as you? (Many want to remain a part of your hated Great Britain, for example)

Along with the previous question: Do you honestly believe there is only one definition of 'Nation' and you all share it?”
