“I have noticed several posters have gone 'Antbod' 'PixieDaisy' etc. and that there does seem to be a little less obsession with a certain minor political party. For my part, I am more interested in the 'big' news than political minutiae which let's face it was verging on paranoia!”

“I have to agree. It seems like the small and unrepresentative "Cornish nationalist", whether living in England, Cornwall, France or Wales, or their being not Cornish, but from English parts of the UK, are falling apart at the seams, by infighting and self hate. So their attacks on rational debate here are no longer coordinated or presented as a unified front.

Long may it continue to be so.”

“I would disagree with your comment Big Ger. Roberd and AlanSanders have posted on here this past fews days in a perfectly reasonable manner and they are obviously Cornish Nationalists. As for a certain political party, they have been well covered in the national press this past two weeks and have you seen this week's West Briton page 2? Take a look!!!!!!!!! (I have never heard of the organisation but huge coverage - The Cornish Stannary Parliament)
Anyway, ever forward to a federal Europe!!!”

I find Mr Sanders viewpoints too difficult to comprehend, though I appreciate he may have some educational problems.”

I was not aware that Councillor Sanders suffered from dyslexia.”

“Dyslexia is a reading, not writing problem, in the main.

    If you review Mr Sanders messages here you will see hi problem lies in punctuation and sentence construction, not reading and writing;

“A person's comment should be judged by its content and intention, not by its punctuation, grammar, spelling etc.,
You may recall a very well read blogger who was dyslexic, hounded out by the trolling of Gary of Saltash (and his numerous other ids).
This blog is in danger of becoming a parody of itself and I hope the irony is not lost?”

It's very hard to do that when the person's comment comes close to being gobbledy****.”

“Alistair, yes, Gary had more ids than Facebook, it was humorous to begin with ie.'' Gary is too big a man to reply to that comment!'', but it then got out of control with deceptions of grandeur, he even tried to bully Charles (honest), and his attacks others went beyond the pale.
A shame, as otherwise he was a good blogger and he'd probably loved playing with those arrows.”

“As I said, this blog is in danger of becoming a parody of itself and I hope the irony is not lost.
It appears it was in both cases.
He's/She's still posting patronising and sarcastic comment and has little to add. If you fall below their assumed educational standard you're in danger of getting a bigoted reply. I have no problem fighting fire with fire with people who like to dish it out but I wouldn't have the hypocrisy to start a discussion about it.”

The post that you are referring to was not made in an effort to insult the person.
I genuinely did not understand what the poster was attempting to put over.
If Councillor Sander was insulted, then I apologise.”

There are no Cornish Nationalists blogging here, although we could be forgiven for believing that this is yet another baiting exercise.

“Dont 'ee be so bliddy flakey homerjay my Robin... I was just trying to point out how futile this clap trap is, everything on this site seems to degenerate into ascerbic exchanges between posters which invariably generate more heat than light.

Now we have the English nationalists wading in I see just to add another negative dimension.

The cause of Cornwalls well being is badly served by constant bickering between the same old posters for ever sniping at each other from behind a cloak of anonymity.

I believe in working for the good of Cornwall in practical ways that may just do a little good... do any of you?”

A role of this forum was to keep the Nat debate off the news pages. Compared to the previous chaos it has been successful, the site was being destroyed by trolls using a multitude of ids.
But the forum also needs to be a more user friendly place for posters not interested in blogging primarily on Nat subjects, and not be put off by the experience.
Posts and blogs disappear and I accept that as part of the privilege to blog, but when good bloggers disappear who add to the experience, I do not.
And yes, I do some charity work, not solely for the benefit for Cornwall, it makes no difference to me where the accident of their birthplace was. Everyone who has spare time would probably benefit (although my employer doesn't count as a charity).
    BTW ''bliddy flakey''...good memory!”

“"A role of this forum was to keep the Nat debate off the news pages."

By the looks of things not many are reading these pages, however it does seem a draft of posters have just turned up on mass, it looks a bit to organised and so not of much use or effect. I have been following this over the last few days and it is fascinating, it is the war of the trolls, their words/posts indicate a personal view rather than a collective idea, (see the posting when they hit out at a poster or posters) It sits somewhere between progress and pride and attempts to gain the upper hand, quite why I don't know but these are not the actions of the people I know here in Cornwall but extremists I fear, I.E my way or the highway. It is of no use to keep feeding this folks unless that is what you want, a need to be fed and feed, it is all troll feeding isn't it!”

I don't know if you were using this site in it's previous incarnation (ie. before the forums), the news section was on it's last legs due to the infighting. The news section was far worse than this forum is now.
People couldn't blog an opinion about Cornwall because they to would be accused of being a Nat. And when the Nat baiters got bored because their was no subject to troll, they'd troll other comment.
Let's get one thing straight, I never comment on Nat debates but IMO the Nats didn't bring this site down, it was the Nat baiters, some with many ids.
And still carrying the torch, YC, SL and BG, hence my comment because of the hypocrisy and irony of this discussion posted by SL who posts with remarkable similarity to Gary of Saltash (RIP).
When this site changed, bloggers were asked to keep debates like this in the newly introduced forum, and it has worked.
And no SL, I didn't miss the 2 comments after ebxdlpkd's now in file 13.”

“I was led to believe that Northcliff media changed their forums setups up and down the country, TIC is no different than the other TI?, and only changed because of company policy, if you think it is just little bitty Cornwall, and everyone is clinging to every word that is being said, I think you could be mistaken.”
