Two drivers escaped serious injury yesterday despite being trapped in their vehicles following a collision in South East Cornwall. The emergency services were called to the A388 at Kelly Bray, near Callington, at 9.30am following reports of a crash involving a black Ford Ka and a blue Peugeot 206. The drivers had to be released from their damaged cars by the fire brigade. Devon and Cornwall Police said neither motorist required hospital treatment and both had been treated at the scene for "minor" injuries. The road was cleared by 11.20am.
