Top eco-award for university
Plymouth University has been judged the "most sustainable" school, college or university.
It won the title of the Most Sustainable Public Sector Organisation in Education in the annual Public Sector Sustainability Awards.
Professor Wendy Purcell, Vice-Chancellor of Plymouth University, said: "To be named as the country's most sustainable educational institution is fantastic recognition for Plymouth and the way that we have embedded sustainability into the heart of everything we do."
The awards judged various categories, including management of the university estate and energy and water use.
