By-election for new councillor in St Neot village
A by-election is to be held to elect a new councillor for St Neot Parish Council.
The election was called in the south east Cornish village after more than ten electors petitioned the Returning Officer called for an election to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of John O'Neill.
The notice of election will be formally published on Thursday.
Anyone interested in standing as a candidate in the election should contact the Deputy Returning Officer, Room 33, Luxstowe House, Liskeard PL14 3DZ, tel: 01579 341234. If more than two people stand for election, the poll will take place on December 20.
