Archie's Ball is a formal dress, three course sit down meal with live music, DJ and charity raffle, to be held at the Duke of Cornwall Hotel in Plymouth on the 23rd of February 2013 @7pm until late.

The ball is in aid of Archie's Story, a charity founded by Archie's parents to help raise awareness about meningitis and raise funds for Archie's continual supply of prosthetic legs. Archie tragically lost his legs when he developed meningitis B which later turned into septicaemia, which ravaged other parts of his body, as well as his legs, when he was less than 18 months old. Archie now requires a continual supply of prosthetic legs to aid his development and recovery, as he grows, which are not funded on the NHS. As part of our foundation degree in business, studying at Cornwall College, we were given the task of hosting an event of our choice, and we felt that Archie's Story was a very worthy cause for such a brave little boy.

Please show your support for Archie and purchase a ticket for the event, tickets are £40 per person which includes your three course meal.
You can also purchase strips of raffle tickets, to be in with a chance of winning one (or more) of our amazing raffle prizes, which include meals for two at top restaurants within the local area, theatre tickets for two in London with travel, courtesy of CityBus, a photography session worth £400 with top photographer Louise Sumner and much more! Raffle tickets are £1 per ticket or £5 per strip.

The Duke of Cornwall are also very kindly offering a reduced rate on their rooms for the night if you require them.

Reduced Rates are as follows:
Single room - £75
Standard Double / Twin Room - £90
Master Double / Twin Room - £100
