Down on the farm: Learning where food comes from
A FARM opened its doors to the public as part of a national week of awareness designed to educate people about where their food comes from.
Trevilley Farm, near Lane, on the edge of Newquay, hosted the event and welcomed families who ventured out in the pouring rain last Sunday.

Gill Barrett, a partner at the farm, said: "The people that came enjoyed themselves. The only disappointment of the day was the weather.
"If we could have picked the worst day to have the event on I think we did. The problem is that it was a national event so we had to have it on that day.
"Maybe next year we could hold the event again. We definitely weren't put off and people seemed to enjoy seeing how food is produced."
